FAQs
How do I learn more about Dr. Barrow's services?
Book a free 20 minute consultation.
What happens after I book a consultation?
When you schedule a consultation, you choose a time that works for you, and then you'll be asked to fill out a form with your reason for considering working with an advocate. In your 20 minute meeting with Dr. Barrow, you'll explore your concern to see if her services are a match for your needs.
What if none of the consultation times work for me?
Contact Dr. Barrow on the "Contact Us" page with your availability and she will find a time that works for you.
Who should join the initial consultation call?
You and anyone for whom services will be provided should participate in the initial call. If you are contacting Dr. Barrow for a family member, they should be part of the call.
How do we start work together?
If you decided to work with Dr. Barrow, she will send you a contract and some other forms for you to complete. You can start work soon after.
How will we know how much time the work will take?
This will depend on the circumstance. Some people need an advocate for a fixed period of time, for example to help with nursing home or caregiver research. Others request ongoing services, for example medical navigation for a cancer diagnosis. Dr. Barrow will give you her best estimate of how much time your needs will take.
Is advocacy covered by insurance?
Dr. Barrow's advocacy services are not covered by insurance and are paid directly by the client.
**All services provided by Dr. Barrow and Barrow Health Advocacy, LLC, are consultative in nature and are not direct medical care.
